In connection with Hillwood’s upcoming exhibition, Glass: Art. Beauty. Design., the Collections team will install a contemporary glass display by artist Beth Lipman in the first floor library. To accommodate the installation, the below rooms will be temporarily closed to the public from May 22-25, 2023. These temporary closures require the mansion tour route to be adjusted, resulting in a shorter 43-minute tour and only four tour routes. Please review map of the closed rooms. The rooms will reopen to the public, with the tour routes returning to their normal path, on Friday, May 26.   

Closed to the Public (May 22-25):

• First Floor Library
• Dining Room/ Breakfast Room
• Kitchen (pantry will be partially open)
• Please note: While the Dining Room will be partially open and accessible by entering from the French porcelain room, the space is too small to gather with a group.
