With most of Hillwood’s employees working remotely, communication between departments can face some hurdles. In an effort to keep volunteers and staff informed, director of human resources Samantha Hernandez has been conducting a series of video interviews with a variety of departments across campus.

Samantha spoke with Lisa Leyh, head of volunteer services and engagement, on how Hillwood has worked to keep our beloved volunteers connected and engaged during this socially distant time, the innovated approach to volunteering through a variety of pilot programs, and how the employee engagement projects have crossed over to the volunteer program. Lastly, Lisa offers both a look ahead to 2021 and what she is most grateful for as this year comes to a close.
