Hillwood Gardens Closed & April Shifts Suspended

This has been an extremely challenging time for each and every one of us, and I am so proud of the ways Hillwood staff has risen to this challenge. As we all know, the challenge continues to impact our outreach, staff and economy.

Last week, we made the decision to support our community by keeping the gardens open. While we have received heartfelt thanks from our neighbors, members and visitors, under current guidance and restrictions we can no longer continue to welcome the public to Hillwood. We will close all indoor and outdoor spaces to the public for an indefinite period of time starting Thursday, March 19 at 5 p.m. All public programs and volunteer continuing education for April will be rescheduled or canceled. All volunteer shifts (including Horticulture) are suspended now through the end of April.

Though the museum and gardens are temporarily closed, you can continue to enjoy all Hillwood has to offer digitally, though our online collectionvideo library, and mobile app. Follow Hillwood on social media for daily art and garden content on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter.

Hillwood’s Management Team is meeting daily and will keep you abreast of any changes. Please continue to practice social distancing, wash your hands and keep yourself and your families safe.
