Welcome to Staff: New Volunteer Programs Coordinator

Hillwood is pleased to introduce Jordan Hansen as Hillwood’s new Volunteer Programs Coordinator. Starting today, Monday, September 11, Jordan will be responsible for overseeing volunteer scheduling, communication, recruitment, and providing overall support to our volunteers in their roles at Hillwood.

Jordan brings a strong background in volunteer management and education, having previously served as a Museum Outreach Educator and Teen and Teacher Specialist at the Springville Museum of Art in Springville, UT. In this role, she worked closely with their volunteer program. Additionally, Jordan has honed her teaching and research skills while serving as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at American University, Washington DC. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Art History from American University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Curatorial Studies from Brigham Young University, UT.

Jordan will be available Monday through Friday and her office will be located in the Butler’s House. Her contact information is provided below. Starting in mid-September, both Jordan and I will be making the rounds on campus to personally introduce Jordan to our volunteers.
