On Monday, August 24, reproductions of two paper objects will be installed in the case in the first-floor library, as part of the special display for the 250th anniversary of the United States. The label has been updated to reflect this change. You can see the new label text on pages 5-7 of the updated Mansion Rotation & Display Updates document.
In addition to updates in the first-floor library, the collections team will also temporarily remove two candlesticks from the dining room. We will notify volunteers when the objects are back on display. Click here for more information and images of the objects.
