During this time of gratitude, we are delighted to share a few special perks as a thank-you for your dedication and hard work. Below, you\u2019ll find information about exclusive volunteer discounts on memberships and select museum shop purchases, upcoming holiday programming, and a preview of the newly installed holiday d\u00e9cor now on view in the mansion and visitor center for Holidays at Hillwood: Glamorous Greetings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership Discount
<\/u><\/strong>As a token of our appreciation, we\u2019re pleased to offer volunteers a 25% discount<\/strong> on new memberships, upgrades, or gift memberships from Individual to Donor levels throughout December, starting Monday, December 1. Please note this offer is exclusively for new memberships, upgrades, or gifts and does not apply to renewals at your current membership level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are currently an Individual or Dual\/Family member, this is a wonderful time to upgrade to Contributor-level. With your volunteer discount, the Contributor level is $112.50 (regularly $150) and includes access to three reciprocal networks: North American Reciprocal Museums<\/a>, Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums<\/a>, and the American Horticultural Society<\/a> \u2013 providing free or discounted admission to hundreds of museums, cultural institutions, and gardens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to use your discount:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Complete the membership form<\/a> and follow the mailing instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Call the Hillwood Membership line at 202.243.3939.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Pick up a printed form and envelop in the Butler\u2019s House on the staff side. Completed forms may be left in the sealed, locked box located next to Erin Allen\u2019s office; membership staff will collect them daily.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Museum Shop Discount
    <\/u><\/strong>We\u2019re excited to extend a special thank-you with an exclusive 30% discount on all non-clearance items<\/strong>, available December 3\u201319<\/strong> in store and online. Additionally, the museum shop will host special volunteer and staff shopping hours on Monday, December 8<\/strong>, from 10 a.m.\u20133:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Whether you stop by in person or shop from home<\/a>, we\u2019re happy to offer both shipping and in-store pickup options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Holiday Display Information<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our Horticulture team is hard at work putting the finishing touches on the holiday d\u00e9cor, on view beginning Tuesday, November 25. Glamorous Greetings: Holiday Tree Rotation<\/a> at Hillwood draws inspiration from the special exhibition From Exile to Avant-Garde: The Life of Princess Natalie Paley<\/em> with glittering Christmas trees and holiday decorations throughout the estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Volunteer Holiday Display Tour<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    December 9-12 (Tuesday-Friday), 10:15-10:45 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Get an intimate look at Hillwood\u2019s holiday decor on this tour of the mansion and grounds hosted by Ami Wilber, floral and event d\u00e9cor designer.
