We apologize for the inconvenience and hope many of you can still join us on March 11. Thank you for your understanding.<\/p><p>No RSVP is required for this event and all lectures will be recorded and made available on the volunteer website shortly after the event.<\/p><p><strong>On Monday, March 11, doors open at 9:30 a.m<\/strong>. The program will begin with light refreshments and mingling with fellow volunteers and the horticulture staff. The first lecture of the day will begin at 10 a.m. See below for a lineup of the day:<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Day of Horticulture<\/span><br \/><\/strong><strong>NEW DATE: <\/strong>Monday, March 11, 2024<\/p><p><strong>10:00 a.m. <u>Inside Look: Motor Court, French Parterre, and Rose Garden<\/u>, presented by Sarah Bass<br \/><\/strong>Join Sarah Bass, garden section manager, as she dives into the unique history of these garden rooms, and the exciting projects that took place in 2023.<\/p><p><strong>11:00 a.m. <u>Bonsai with Jarett,<\/u> presented by Jarett Currin<br \/><\/strong>Join Jarett Currin, greenhouse grower, for a beginners look at bonsai as he presents a quick trip through the history of bonsai and shares some tips and techniques to help anyone interested in starting their own arboreal adventure.<\/p><p><strong>11:30 a.m. <u>Houseplants Anonymous<\/u>, presented by Matthew Leach<br \/><\/strong>Catch a glimpse into the life of a houseplant addict with no hope for recovery. Matthew Leach, gardener, will discuss all things houseplants, showing off some of his own collection, and much more!<\/p><p><strong>12:00 p.m. <u>2023 Garden Update and Peek Ahead<\/u>, presented by Jessica Bonilla<br \/><\/strong>There is always a lot going on in the horticulture department.
