Marisa moves to the visitor services department starting on Monday, April 17. Building upon the skills she\u2019s gained from overseeing the volunteer program, Marisa will help lead the visitor services staff in providing the best possible visitor experience. Her new role with utilize Marisa\u2019s superb customer services skills and provide her with the opportunity to work more closely with our visitors and members as well as volunteers when on-site in the visitor center. Marisa\u2019s schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Volunteer Programs<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please welcome <strong>Sabrina Utz, Hillwood\u2019s new volunteer programs coordinator<\/strong>. Starting on Monday, April 17, Sabrina will oversee volunteer scheduling, communication, recruitment, and overall support of volunteers in their roles at Hillwood. She brings a strong background in museum operations and volunteer management from Tudor Place Historic House and Garden in Washington, D.C., where she planned and led their summer docent recruitment and training. Sabrina\u2019s work experience has been enriched by her studies at Roanoke College, Salem, VA where she obtained a bachelor of arts degree in history with a concentration in public history. Sabrina\u2019s schedule will be Monday-Friday and her office will be located in the Butler\u2019s House. Her contact information is provided below.
