Read on for more details on how to reconnect and learn with fellow volunteers this spring.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hillwood Huddle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, April 20 &amp; Thursday, May 20 (3 p.m.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During these 30-minute informal sessions, volunteers and staff will have the opportunity to reconnect virtually with one another over Zoom and share their passion for all things Hillwood. Participants will be divided into smaller breakout rooms. Halfway through the 30-minute program, the breakout rooms will be \u201creshuffled,\u201d allowing volunteers to mix and mingle with a larger number of volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>Advance registration is required.\u00a0Click the links below to register for an upcoming Hillwood Huddle. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive via email the Zoom link and meeting instructions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tZItf-2grjsjG9MM2FaT9iImbY4CEWSQ0GPM\">April 20 (3 p.m.) Huddle<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tZclf-mhqDwsH9e2fsmr4PbsInti6690zLHY\">May 20 (3 p.m.) Huddle<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Volunteer Floral Workshop:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><em>Celebrating\u00a0Nature<\/em><\/strong><strong>, A Floral Design Inspired by Constance Spry<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, May 6 (1:30 p.m.)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOpen your mind to every form of beauty\u201d &#8211; Constance Spry<\/p>\n<p>Ever considered\u00a0foraging for natural materials?\u00a0If yes,\u00a0you\u00a0are\u00a0already in the mind frame of Constance Spry.\u00a0Join Ami Wilber, Hillwood\u2019s floral and event d\u00e9cor designer, and learn how Constance Spry has inspired\u00a0Ami to use an\u00a0aesthetic\u00a0where\u00a0nature\u00a0is\u00a0the guiding principle.\u00a0In this workshop, we will\u00a0create\u00a0a wild and non-traditional floral design. We will gather\u00a0ingredients from our backyards and local flower farms\u00a0and use mostly native plants.\u00a0Ami will share a step-by-step guide to create your own arrangement with plenty of time to ask questions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Optional Materials Fee\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The program is free to watch, but for an additional $45 fee, participants will receive all necessary materials, including flowers, greenery and hardware, to create their own arrangement at home. Materials are limited to twenty volunteers. Interested volunteers must\u00a0pre-order materials<strong> by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27<\/strong> and collect them from Hillwood the morning of the program. Contact-free pickup for materials will be available between 10 a.m. and noon on May 6. There is no registration required to watch the program.
