Please observe the 15-mph speed limit throughout the estate and remain alert to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. For safety and operational reasons, do not move any cones placed in parking areas. <a href=\"http:\/\/volunteer.hillwoodmuseum.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Volunteer-Parking_Watercolor-Map_2026-05_v2_Webpage.pdf\">Click here or continue scrolling to view the parking map<\/a>.<\/p><p>Upon arrival, Security staff may direct you to an alternate parking location based on operational needs. Please follow all instructions provided.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #74a35f;\"><strong>Volunteer Parking Locations<\/strong><\/span><br \/>Volunteers may park in either of the following designated areas:<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #74a35f;\"><strong>1. Back Railing Parking: <\/strong><\/span>Located behind the Merriweather Caf\u00e9, C.W. Post Center, and the administration building. Access this area by driving through the visitor center lot.<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><span style=\"color: #74a35f;\"><strong>Weekdays:<\/strong><\/span> Park in any unnumbered space.<\/li><li><span style=\"color: #74a35f;\"><strong>Weekends:<\/strong> <\/span>Park in numbered spaces, except spaces 20\u201323 (reserved for caf\u00e9 staff).<\/li><li>The first spaces on the left are reserved for bus parking.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #74a35f;\"><strong>2. Lower Gate Drive Parking: <\/strong><\/span>Turn right onto the lower gate drive, proceed to the bottom, make a three-point turn. Then park on the left side, facing uphill. Volunteers can also access the lower gate drive via the south access road (a scenic route around the estate).<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #74a35f;\"><strong>Exiting the Estate<\/strong><\/span><br \/>At the end of your shift, please exit via the upper gate drive. Use caution at all times, particularly in areas where drivers may not expect traffic.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #74a35f;\"><strong>Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations<\/strong><\/span><br \/>Hillwood offers two EV charging stations for the convenience of visitors, volunteers, and staff.
