SUMMARY:Children-Friendly Interactions at Hillwood
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by insights from our recent volunteer survey\, Hillwoo
 d is excited to introduce a new one-hour training session\, Children-Frie
 ndly Interactions at Hillwood\, for volunteers. This session will be held 
 in the visitor center theater on Monday\, March 30 at 1 p.m.\, with a repe
 at offering on Monday\, April 13 at 10 a.m.\n\nAs we continue to welcome a
  growing number of families and youth visitors—including children visiti
 ng with parents\, schools\, and community groups—this training is design
 ed to help volunteers and staff feel more confident and prepared when enga
 ging with our youngest guests. Lead by Audra Kelly\, director of interpret
 ation\, Rebecca Singer\, head of youth audiences\, the session will explor
 e how children and families fit into Hillwood’s visitation experience\, 
 share practical tips for creating a welcoming environment\, and provide gu
 idance on managing challenging situations when intervention may be needed.
  The wonderful work our volunteers do to support today’s children plays 
 an essential role in shaping tomorrow’s museum visitors\, donors\, and p
 atrons\, helping to ensure Hillwood’s vibrant future.\n\nLight refreshme
 nts will be provided. The session will also be recorded and shared with vo
 lunteers via the volunteer website and email.
